3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition is a research competition that challenges Research Students to present a compelling oration on their thesis/Dissertation topic/problem, method, result and its significance in just three minutes. 3MT develops academic, presentation, and research communication skills and supports the development of research students’ capacity to effectively explain their research in language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
Eligibility:
- Only PhD and Master Students who have done Proposal but have not yet done External Viva Voce are eligible.
- Participants must be registered graduate students of the the following departments: Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
- Presentations must be based on research that is directly related to the student’s graduate program Dissertation. Participant must be available to present, in person, on the day of their presentation.
